I put witches broom with Murraya paniculata in Google and there are some websites popping up.

Subject: Perplexing...

 

A client brought in a sample of a Murraya paniculata with abnormal growths.  It is in a area landscaped with stone mulch.  He is using herbicides to control weeds (don’t know which one), probably pre-emergent type.  Any ideas?
