Further to Ulrik's message, for those interested in exponential random graph models, we will also be conducting a workshop at ASNA using pnet. Check out the ASNA conference website for details.

Dear all,

since the following features have been requested in recent postings

* random-walk (= current-flow) betweenness
* distinct representation of unconfirmed ties
* multiple attributes for nodes and links
* Web crawling
* GraphML import/export
* availability on Macs

let me advertise a

  full-day visone tutorial on September 15
  at the ASNA 2011 conference in Zurich.

visone is free software and the upcoming release scheduled for ASNA
includes all of the above plus some other non-standard features such as

* layout and animation of longitudinal networks
* integration with R/igraph (sending networks and data back and forth)
* integration with KNIME (sending networks and data back and forth)
* integration with RSiena (model specification and analysis)

See www.asna.ch for more about the workshop
and www.visone.info to download the software.

See you in Zurich,

B.
