An early morning bike ride revealed that Soras have arrived. There were two freshly dead ones on the road just on my limited route. It makes one wonder how a population can survive that sort of destruction coupled along with cats and buildings.

Yellow Warblers are still moving down the peninsula. Their chips and westward flight "hops" are quite evident after sunrise and until they fly from the tip of the point across Pensacola Bay toward the Alabama coast.
