Nuffield College is a social science graduate institution within Oxford 
University, with a strong research tradition of empirically informed and 
theoretically aware sociology.

The College is looking to appoint two Official Fellows in Sociology with 
a proven track record in research and publication to commence during 
2012 -2013. There is no restriction on the substantive field. Official 
Fellowships are comparable with tenured research Professorships. Fellows 
are required to engage in active research leading to publications, and 
to supervise doctoral students, but will have no course or specific 
lecturing obligations.
