RE: Tomorrow: On-Campus Peace Corps Recruitment Meetings, 12 noon and 6 p.m.

As you may have already heard, UF no longer has a Peace Corps recruiter on campus.

Nevertheless, we know that there are many students who, intrigued by the option of volunteering after graduation, need advice and support as they consider the option.

In an effort to fill the void left by the loss of the recruiter position, the UF International Center is working with the Gainesville Returned Peace Corps Volunteer organization to identify individuals willing to be available for students interested in exploring Peace Corps opportunities and answer questions they might have.

These returned volunteers will meet at 12 noon tomorrow (Wednesday, September 19, 2012) in the large conference room at the UF International Center (inside The Hub on the UF campus) to organize such support. All returned volunteers, on-campus and off-campus, are welcome to attend. For those who cannot make the noon meeting, a second one will take place later tomorrow, in the same location, at 6 p.m.

Please share this information with any interested individuals, especially those not affiliated with the Gainesville Returned Peace Corps Volunteer organization.
