RE: April 24: Fulbright Day

Last year, hundreds of faculty and students representing various UF colleges and departments participated in UF's annual Fulbright Day. Due to the success of last year's event and the prestige of the Fulbright Program, UF will be hosting its annual Fulbright Day on Tuesday, April 24, 2012.

Scheduled to take place from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Marston Science Library, Room L107, the day will be devoted to discussing ways to continue and increase awareness about Fulbright programs across campus, learning about the program's lengthy application process, and listening to the experiences of past Fulbright scholars and students. Institute of International Education (IIE) Fulbright representatives, Walter Jackson and Andy Riess, will be participating in all the day's discussions and workshops. Last, to celebrate the stories of all of UF's past Fulbright scholars and students, President Bernie Machen will be hosting an invitation-only reception at the UF President's House following all the day's activities.
