Current Storm Track Image

As you may have seen, UF has created a storm watch page
to provide regularly updated information for the University community regarding
Tropical Storm Isaac: The site will provide information regarding
any UF actions as well as resources for obtaining current forecasts, including
tropical update videos from WRUF.

It is still too early to know specific forecast impacts,
if any, for the UF campus area in terms of wind and rain. However, all UF units, employees and students
should monitor Isaac forecasts and review their tropical weather plans.

As FYI, WRUF 6 will present a public weather briefing
regarding Isaac at 2pm today. It can be
viewed on their broadcast channel or online at

There will be another tropical information net tonight at 8 pm following the ARES Net on the 146.820 repeater.
