I should be grateful for any advice provided on the following issue.
There is a growing recognition of the potential use of data generated by networked infrastructures and more especifically mobile phones to trace mobility patterns. The following post at the Technology Review provides an example: http://www.technologyreview.com/news/428441/a-phone-that-knows-where-youre-going/).1. Are you aware of similar research?
2. Are you aware of any research project involving social scientists to provide a more nuanced analysis and understanding of that data?
Many thanks for your help.
Best wishes,
Javier Caletrio
