This morning I joined Orange Audubon Society's birdwalk at Mead Gardens.
While photographing some Indigo Buntings, we came across a Clay-colored
Sparrow. The sparrow was in the grasses by the butterfly garden to the
right of the entrance to the boardwalk. It stuck around for quite a while,
and most of us on the bird walk had a chance to see it. Others there (Paul
and Dexter) tell me that this may be the first sighting of a Clay-colored
Sparrow at Mead Gardens. I posted photos of the sparrow at

Mead Gardens is just east of Rte 17/92 and south of Fairbanks (rte 426) in
Winter Park, FL, Orange County.

Good birding!
