RE: Apply Now: American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education Graduate Student and Faculty Fellowship Programs
The American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education is now accepting applications for the 2014 Graduate Student Fellowship Program and Faculty Fellowship Program.
Two multidisciplinary Fellowship Programs, co-sponsored by the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education (AAHHE), Inc. and the Ford Foundation, are now accepting applications for:
(1) The AAHHE/Ford Graduate Student Fellows Program (GSFP)
(2) The AAHHE/Ford Junior Faculty Fellows Program (FFP)
The Fellowship Programs aim to advance an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the growing Hispanic/Latina/o community needs and foster the professional development of Hispanic/Latina/o graduate students and junior faculty from across all disciplines.
Graduate and Faculty Fellows from diverse disciplines will attend the 2014 AAHHE National Conference: “America's Prosperity: The Academic Success of Hispanics,” and pre-conference which will be held March 5-8, 2014, at the Hilton Costa Mesa Hotel in Costa Mesa, CA. Participation in both pre-conference fellowship programs will begin on Wednesday, March 5th, continue throughout the national conference, and conclude on the evening of Saturday March 8th. We encourage applicants from all disciplines. Past Fellowship recipients have represented wide areas including Humanities, Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Business, and Education.
