ANNOUNCEMENT Date: January 10, 2013 To: All UF Graduate Students Cc: All UF Graduate Coordinators and Staff From: Florida Society of the Social Sciences RE: Submit by February 5: Presentation and Poster Abstracts for the 8th Annual Conference of the Social Sciences Call for Abstracts The Florida Society of the Social Sciences (F3S) invites you to present your paper or poster at the 8th Annual Conference of the Social Sciences (CSS). The conference, themed "Envisioning Common Ground", will be held at the University of Florida, all day Saturday February 16, 2013. This is an interdisciplinary conference that provides graduate and undergraduate students from diverse fields of the social sciences the opportunity to showcase their research in a collegiate environment and to network with other social science students/researchers on campus. Submission Guidelines All undergraduate and graduate social science students are eligible to submit abstracts. Submit 250-word abstracts for paper and poster presentations to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Please make sure the following list of information is included before your abstract. Title of abstract or poster Presenter's name Presenter's affiliation Contact information When submitting your abstract, please email the submission as an attachment and put "CSS Paper Submission" or "CSS Poster Submission" with your initials in the subject line of the email. The deadline to submit an abstract is February 5, 2013. Early submission is encouraged.
