Next Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 3 – 4 p.m. the GTM Research Reserve will begin a four month project focused on creating a dialogue about oyster restoration projects across the country. The program, part of our EcoGeek Series from our new public education programming,
will feature a Skype (video conference) call with South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve. GTM Research Reserve staff and visitors will talk with scientists in at South Slough NERR in Oregon about their restoration efforts and research over the past
three years.
These Skype sessions will take place the third Wednesday of each month from January to April 2013. Each month we will dive deeper into their work, so no two presentations will be the same. Also, please note that this is not an ordinary lecture/presentation;
we really want to create an open dialogue so that we can learn from one another.
Where: Environmental Education Center, GTM Research Reserve, 505 Guana River Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL
Time: Wednesday, January 16, 3 – 4 p.m.
