RE: March 20: Guest Speaker: Conservationist Jim Hunt, Author of "Restless Fires"

Dr. Jim Hunt, author of "Restless Fires," will be visiting UF for a talk on March 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Room 282, Reitz Union. His book chronicles John Muir's historical 1,000 mile walk through the South after the Civil War. It provides unique insight into the legendary conservationist's views of humans and nature. Muir's insights are a memorable history lesson, alongside his understanding of how human beings fit into the environment.

Presented by the School of Natural Resources & Environment Graduate Student Council and the NSF-funded UF I-Cubed (Innovation through Institutional Integration) Program.
