What is really happening? How vulnerable are we to changes in the water cycle? What science is available that can help answer the myriad vexing questions? How can we communicate the best available science and ensure it informs decisions for sustaining a water future?

To help answer some of these complex questions, the UF Water Institute<http://piecenter.us1.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=418df07bfb29016dfe47a6eb7&id=2896d9f410&e=11060df6d4> promotes rigorous interdisciplinary research, innovative education, and scientist-stakeholder engagement focused on a range of freshwater ecosystems (coastal, wetlands, watersheds, aquifers, lakes and springs). The Florida Water and Climate Alliance is just one example how the Water Institute is fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and linking science to action when it comes to water and climate.
