Dear Rick,

Although our work is not yet completed, you may be interested in the Intentionally-Linked Entities (ILE) database management system, which Vitit Kantabutra and I have just described in a book chapter. We have designed this new system to enhance SNA research. You can download a pre-publication version of the chapter from Kantabutra's Academia.edu site:

I hope that you find our work interesting.
Jack

I am working with a client who is likely to accumulate a large amount of information about people they are working with, and who in turn those people work with.

This data needs to be searchable via a database, as well as being capaable of being imported into well known SNA packages such as UCINET and NodeXL

Can anyone advise me on what they think are useful database packages?

regards, rick davies
