This morning, 10/21, I found a 1st cycle Franklin's Gull on the beach in Ponce Inlet. The bird was about 300 yards north of the North Jetty with large numbers of gulls and terns and skimmers and about 30 Red Knots. Go to the Town of Ponce Inlet. Enter Lighthouse Point Park. Go to the main parking lot. Walk out the boardwalk toward the jetty. Walk north on the beach. Typically the birds are present in the early morning before the beach gets busy.
