The Cassin's Kingbird was still present this morning at the same location. Luckily, it flew in from farther down the field and landed right on the wires along rt 305. This allowed me to get much closer than is usually possible.

The bird is found off rt 100 about 7 miles west of Bunnell on rt 305. Go about 1/4 mile south on rt305. There are two small abandoned homes on the right. Just to the north of the two houses is a power line that runs out into the field behind the house. The bird is usually on these wires. You can pull off the road onto a drive way at these houses. However, this is all private property and you should stay on the road shoulder. Do not go out into the field. The property owners do not like trespassing in this area.
