October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Advocates from the community will present information and share resources to students, faculty and staff regarding violence prevention. Join representatives from Peaceful Paths Domestic Abuse Network, Sexual Trauma/Interpersonal Violence Education (STRIVE) from GatorWell, Alachua County Office of Victim Services, University Police Department and Gainesville Police Department. Topics will include the following:


·         How intimate partner violence (IPV) and sexual assault impacts the lives of individuals on campus in our community

·         What resources are available through agencies

·         How to contact the agencies for services
