RE:          UF CRC Entrepreneurship Week Starts Today, 6:15 p.m.

The UF Career Resource Center presents Entrepreneurship Week: Nov. 17-21, 2014!

Did you know UF helped create 15 startups, landing fourth nationally just behind leading institutions such as MIT? We did.  During the week of November 17th-21st, 2014, the Career Resource Center presents Entrepreneurship Week, which features programming for students interested in becoming an entrepreneur or working for a startup. Events open to all majors and classifications. We invite you to join us! 

Monday, November 17th :

UF Entrepreneurship Club presents guest speaker, Rob Carter, co-CEO of Fedex, 6:15 p.m. in the Reitz Union Grand Ballroom, Salon D

Tuesday, November 18th :

UF Career Resource Center (CRC) and the Entrepreneurship Club present the Startup Job and Internship Fair, 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the Reitz Union Breezeway

Wednesday, November 19th :

UF College of Journalism presents “Media Entrepreneurs: Changing the Business and Craft of Storytelling,” 4:00 –5:00 p.m. in Weimer Hall 21st Century News Lab, hosted by Emma Sullivan of College Vox and David Cohn of Circa

Thursday, November 20th (TWO EVENTS!):

Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) and Starter Space present a lecture “Legal Issues for Entrepreneurs,” 3:00 p.m. at Starter Space (308 W. University Ave. Gainesville, FL 32601)

UF CRC presents “Student2Startup,” 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the CRC Library hosted by Lindsey Tropf of Immersed Games, a workshop networking, building your brand, and securing an internship or job with a startup

Friday, November 21st :

UF CRC presents "What's Your Story?" 11:30 a.m. featuring Alex Theodore, the founder of Fracture, tune in to the CRC’s YouTube channel.
