PIE Center Associate Director Alexa Lamm will discuss key findings and new results from this year’s public opinion survey on water quality and quantity. Next, UF Water Institute Director
Wendy Graham will take a closer look at a few of the topics addressed in the survey and fill some apparent knowledge gaps, including the source and quality of Floridians’ tap water, the quality of Florida’s water bodies and the regulatory programs designed
to protect them. Examining the intersection of public perceptions and science can be insightful in guiding the development of community education initiatives.
