RE: Apply Now for Executive Director 2014-2015 of the UF Global Health Case Competition
University of Florida graduate students can now apply to be the Executive Director of the 2nd annual UF Global Health Case Competition. This is a voluntary position that is highly encouraged for UF graduate students.
ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The purpose of the UF Global Health Case Competition (GHCC) is to bring together students from multiple disciplines and provide them with the opportunity to tackle current and critical global health issues in a collaborative and competitive
environment. Modeled after Emory University's Global Health Case Competition, this competition seeks to promote interdisciplinary approaches to solving real-life issues, simulating future workplace settings.
TIME COMMITMENT
The Executive Director will be expected to complete all the duties listed below in a timely and orderly manner to prepare for the 2nd annual UF Global Health Case Competition. While the competition is expected to take place in January 2015,
the Executive Director will hold the position from August 2014- March 2015 and should ideally be prepared to dedicate 5-10 hours per week, with increased hours as the competition approaches.
