RE:          June 16, 11 a.m.: US Fulbright Program Workshop

The UF Honors Program is hosting an information session on the Fulbright US Student Program on June 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the third Floor conference room of the Honors office in the Infirmary on campus, for graduate students interested in finding funding for international field research and research collaboration with faculty based in foreign institutions.

Regan Garner and Art Sandeen from the Honors Program will discuss the structure of the Fulbright US Student program and the application process.

The Fulbright US Student Program is open to US citizens pursuing research opportunities for up to 1 year, and requires an affiliation with a foreign institution to apply.

The Honors Program serves as the administering office for a number of prestigious external scholarships, including the US Fulbright Program, and can provide additional assistance after the workshop to prospective Fulbright applicants who are preparing for the UF campus application deadline in September.
