RE: Your Action Needed for New Upcoming Graduate Certificate Admission System
Hello Graduate Coordinators and Departmental Staff,
As you know, UF is in the process of implementing a new centralized system to handle the admission, processing and awarding of all UF approved certificates. Implementation of the new system requires an update to the Student Records System security profile for each individual who will be charged with making the admissions decision and/or monitoring the progress of each certificate enrollee.
If you are charged with making the admissions decision for an approved certificate program at the department or college level, I need to request that you e-mail [log in to unmask] so that they can send you the appropriate form needed to set up your security. When submitting your form, please specify if you need access for all certificates within your college or if you need access to take action on specific certificates. Please specify the same details if you need access to monitor the progress of certificate enrollees.
You will continue to receive additional information concerning implementation and departmental training within the next couple of days and at the Graduate School’s workshop on September 15th as well. The current plan is to begin allowing certificate applicants to use the new centralized application on or around September 10th.
If you have already responded to the previous message sent out by Beckie Preston on behalf of the Office of the University Registrar there is nothing else that you need to do as your security will be updated based on your response to her request.
We appreciate your timely assistance,
Rick Bryant, M.A.
