Hi Daryl,

I think http://www.vennmaker.com/?lang=en has quite a few if not all of these features.

Best,

Marten

Dear SOCNET,

I’m emailing for advice on  any suitable egnonetwork mapping software/apps that could be used in clinical settings between a practitioner and client.

An ideal tool would need to

-          Be reflexive- show the resulting network immediately so that the practitioner and client can discuss it, track progress, and goal plan. This is key, as it’s the visual aspect of the egonetwork which appeals to practitioners because it can open up conversations with clients -  we don’t want the practitioner to necessarily do any egonetwork analysis but rather use their own skills and knowledge to address issues that the egonetwork mapping raises.

-          Use the egonetwork map as the primary interface, either generating it through answers or dragging nodes unto a map with finger/stylus in an Ipad style format

-          Be flexible – Allow the research team/practitioner to set the specific questions used to generate the egonetwork, and the attributes collected.

I know such an exact tool is not likely to currently exist but I’d really appreciate any suggestions of anything that’s close!

Thanks!

Daryl
