Yesterday Indiana University announced a $7 million investment and the
formation of IUNI (Indiana University Network Science Institute) to
support collaborative research in networks. In addition to research,
the institute is also focusing on training and knowledge exchange and
to building computational and data sharing platforms for networks.

Bernice Pescosolido (sociology) and Olaf Sporns (neuroscience) are
co-directors, but other leadership faculty include William Barnett,
Katy Börner, Tatiana Foroud, Fil Menczer, Eric Meslin, Armando Razo,
and Andrew Saykin.
