RE: 11/9/14: Deadline to Apply for French-American Doctoral Exchange (FADEx)
The Office for Science and Technology (OST) of the Embassy of France in the United States is accepting applications for the French-American Doctoral Exchange (FADEx).
The deadline for Sunday, November 9, 2014.
FADEx is a two-day seminar between PhD students from the United States and France.
The program is open to any PhD student at a US university, regardless of citizenship (except for French nationals).
The seminar, an opportunity to share scientific result in an informal setting, will focus on “advanced architecture for solar cells” and take place at Le Bourget-du-Lac, France, in partnership with the National Institute for Solar Energy (Institut National de l’╔nergie Solaire, INES) in March 2015.
The seminar will include a visit to the state-of-the-art French research centers — INES, MINATEC innovation campus, Photovoltaic Institute of Paris (Institut Photovolta´que d'╬le-de-France, IPVF), European Synchrotron Research Facility (ESRF).
Eight scholarships to attend this meeting to attend this seminar will be awarded to eight top US PhD students, covering round trip to France, travel within France, accommodations and most meals.
