In honor of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, the university’s MLK steering committee has put together the following events.  Please join us at as many of these events as possible.

 

Tuesday, January 13^th   Candlelight March & Opening Ceremony @ 7:45pm -- Institute of Black Culture (IBC)

 

Monday, January 19^th   MLK Day of Service: The Great American Cleanup @ 8:00am – Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

 

Wednesday, January 21^st    MLK Keynote Speaker with Tessa Thompson (MLK’s Legacy: The Voice of Women) @ 6:00pm – UF University Auditorium

 

Friday, January 23^rd    Council on Diversity Community Forum @ 10:30am – Reitz Grand Ballroom

 

Tuesday, January 27^th    Mia McKenzie @ 6pm – Ustler Hall

 

Saturday, January 31^st    Celebrating Opinionated Ladies: Just Say Amen! @ 3:00pm – Alachua County Library (4^th floor)
