RE:          Professional Development:  Register by 01/27/15 for “3MT Info Session”

The Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) and the UF Graduate School invites all graduate students interested in competing in the 2015 Three-Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) to attend the workshop titled “3MT Info Session”.  This workshop includes a panel discussion with 2014 3MT finalists.  They will teach you how to prepare, structure and format your 3MT competition slide and give you inside tips on how to practice and prepare for the best three minute presentation you will ever give! Come with your questions ready!  This promises to be highly informative workshop! 

The workshop will be held on January 28th (THIS WEDNESDAY) from 4pm-5pm in the DeWeese Auditorium (LG101A) located in the McKnight Brain Institute.

To register, log into GIMS and follow the steps below. Register early to guarantee yourself a spot!

Registration Instructions

1. Login to GIMS using your GatorLink ID and Password: http://gradschool.ufl.edu/gimsportal/gatorlink/portal.asp
2. Once you login, on the top of the page click on the “Workshops” tab
3. Under “Register” click the box and then “Submit”
4. After you complete this process, you will receive an email confirmation.

If your schedule changes and you are unable to attend the event, repeat the steps above to remove yourself from the list of workshop attendees.
