I run the training for both our study skills/content tutors and our writing consultants; I have a background in writing centers. There are lots of opportunities for cross-training, but I separate the bulk of their training. I looked at you website - do you guys have a separate writing center or is that all part of your Learning Commons? The Writing Center listserv at [log in to unmask] is a super collaborative group, though you might want to watch the postings for a bit to get a sense of their approach. I've found several great articles that are specific to writing center pedagogy, but I'm looking for resources on best practices that can be applied more broadly in a learning commons environment. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
