The College Reading and Learning Association is proud to announce the 48th annual conference to be held in Portland, OR, November 5-8. The conference provides an opportunity for professionals from a variety of fields (reading, learning assistance, tutoring, mentoring, writing, math, learning communities, and developmental education) to gather to discuss learning.

The theme of the conference is Pinnacles of Learning: The Power of Innovation. We have secured two fantastic speakers and you won't want to miss them. Kyle Bowen, a leader in the field of technology that supports learning, will open the conference. Linda Nilson, author of the One Book, One Conference choice, Creating Self-Regulated Learners, will close the conference.

There are some fabulous preconference options, including the Integrated Reading and Writing Summit cosponsored by CRLA and NADE. Be sure to review all the options in the traditional call located at: CRLA Call to Conference<> .

The tours at this conference will be memorable. Will you choose Powell's City of Books/VooDoo Doughnut Tour or the Columbia Gorge Waterfall Tour, or both?

More information is available on the CRLA Conference website:

I hope to see you there!
