CALL FOR PAPERS
---------------
Social computing and networking is concerned with the intersection of social
behaviours and computing systems, creating or recreating social conventions
and contexts through the use of networking and computing technologies and
services. Various social computing applications have been profoundly change
social behaviours and digital life styles of humankind whilst pushing the
boundaries of Internet technologies. While people can enjoy or even indulge
in the benefits such as freedom and convenience brought about by social
computing, various critical issues such as Energy-efficiency, incentive
mechanisms, trust, privacy, HCI design, and the modelling as well as
understanding of social behaviours via computational means provide
significant challenges.
SocialCom 2015 was created to provide a prime international forum for
researchers, industry practitioners and domain experts to exchange the
latest fundamental advances in the state of the art and practice of Social
Computing & Networking (including architecture, issues and applications,
etc.) and its broadly related areas.
SocialCom 2015 will be held on Dec. 19th-21st, 2015 in Chengdu, Sichuan,

The SocialCom 2015 Organizing Committee invites proposals for one-day
workshops affiliated with the conference and addressing research areas
related to the conference. The workshop proceedings will be published by
IEEE CS Press. Submit workshop proposals to workshops chairs via emails
(E-mail: [log in to unmask]).

PAPER SUBMISSION

Papers need to be prepared according to the IEEE format, and submitted in
PDF format via the SocialCom 2015 submission site:

PAPER PUBLICATION
------------------
Accepted and presented papers will be included into the IEEE Conference
Proceedings published by IEEE CS Press. Authors of accepted papers, or at
least one of them, are requested to register and present their work at the
conference, otherwise their papers will be removed from the digital
libraries of IEEE CS after the conference. Distinguished papers accepted and
presented in SocialCom 2015, after further extensions, will be published in
special issues of several SCI/EI Indexed journals.
