Greetings Colleagues,

The University of Southern Maine is seeking a candidate for an Assistant
Professor of Mathematics with an emphasis on developmental math. The
qualifications
as listed in the posting are as followed:

Doctorate in mathematics education, mathematics, or a related field by time
of appointment. ABD applicants will be considered with the expectation that
the dissertation will be completed by the time of appointment. Applicants
must have previous experience teaching developmental mathematics courses
and demonstrate active scholarship in the area of developmental
mathematics. USM seeks applicants with a clear vision of how to design,
implement, and support a robust, innovative developmental mathematics
program based upon current, evidence­-based practices. Faculty must be
adept in the use of technology to support teaching and learning.
