Hi Jermaine,

At Marietta College (small, private 4-year liberal arts, ~1150 students), we have a very small Academic Resource Center (ARC) department in the Academic Affairs Unit.
All tutors from both the Writing Center and the subject-specific tutoring center report to me (Academic Support Coordinator), and I report to the ARC Director. Previously, the writing tutors reported to a Writing Coordinator, and the subject-specific tutors reported to the ARC's front-desk person.

Cheers,

Subject: To Whom Do Your Tutors Report?

Greetings,

I hope this email finds you all well and preparing for the semester's end.

Our office is going through a small restructure.

One component, "tutor reporting" needs a refocus.

Question: To Whom do your tutors report? D, AD, TC or GA?

Obviously, TC is the preferred reporting structure, but in the absence of....

Any good thoughts or advice on the topic?

Thanks in advance.
