On Monday September 26, 2016 at 6:15pm, the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program will be hosting ESPN award-winning author, Scott Ellsworth. 

Dr. Ellsworth will be doing a lecture and book signing on a historic--if forgotten--basketball game that took place in 1944 between North Carolina College for Negroes and the Duke University Navy Medical basketball team.  Scott's book, titled "The Secret Game," has been a New York Times Sports Book Best Seller and is being made into a major motion picture. 

Scott's lecture will be followed by a book signing and a reception with refreshments.
