Thank you for sharing. What types of cartoons/videos do you use? Are they
available online?
Thanks,

Subject: Re: Teaching Students Good Time Management Habits

With both my academic support courses and my freshman courses I have them
complete a weekly study plan. It's a 24/7 plan where they plan what they
are doing each day and each hour. They can't just list homework; they
have to list what they are doing -- what class, what assignment(s). They
list their courses, when they go to work, and so forth. They also do a
monthly plan where they list all their due dates and then other things
they need to plan around (like a trip).

They do some written reflections about how it feels when they don't use
their time effectively and they do small group class discussions on tips
and tricks they use to manage their time.

I show short videos and cartoons that are funny but make the point.

Looking forward to your responses.
