The University of North Texas is seeking candidates for the position of Coordinator for Supplemental Instruction. The UNT SI program currently staffs 80+ tutors and supports 80+ course sections across humanities and STEM subjects, and is expected to grow within the next year. Responsibilities include: * Coordinate the Supplemental Instruction Program * Supervise graduate assistant for Supplemental Instruction Program * Coordinate the recruitment, selection and training process for Supplemental Instruction Leaders * Supervise and provide professional modeling of behavior to graduate assistants and the Supplemental Instruction Leaders * Assist with other Learning Center programs, including Learning 101 Series, Academic Coaching, and Texas Success Initiative * Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with multiple university departments and offices * Advance philosophies of student development and cultural diversity while actively promoting diversity in staffing, programming, and student leadership * Assist in the development and implementation of assessments, evaluations, and research activities related to students' success in learning and the Supplemental Instruction program * Assist with the development, revision, and distribution of marketing, educational, and informational publications and materials related to the Learning Center and the Supplemental Instruction program * Participation in university, division, and departmental committees and activities * Present outreach programs and workshops that require some evening and weekend work * Perform related duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director For more information and application instructions, please visit: http://jobs.unt.edu/applicants/Central?quickFind=61847 Thank you, Meena Meena Naik, M.S.
