Social Network Analysis Post-Doctoral Position (2
years with a possible additional year). The University of Nebraska REACH Lab (reach.unl.edu)
is seeking a post-doctoral scholar with interest and experience related to the development of new models and/or algorithms for the analysis of real-world and/or
simulated social network data, with an emphasis on the testing of network-analytic innovations through concrete software implementations in mathematical packages such as R, Mathematica, etc.
The candidate will have PhD degree in hand for a start date of August 22, 2016 (no disciplinary preference). The position is funded by NIH R01GM118427, which
supports the development of dynamic interaction sensing software and an accompanying analytical library. The post-doc will work in a lab environment that employs 6 full time research staff, 4 post-docs, and 5 graduate research assistants, supervised by a computer
scientist (Khan) and a social scientist (Dombrowski). Considerable on campus post-doctoral development support is also available at UNL. Salary is commensurate with NIH post-doc levels, and some additional conference travel support is available. Please send
