We appreciate the ongoing communication efforts you conduct to inform eligible graduate assistants in your area about GatorGradCare health insurance enrollment each academic year.
GatorGradCare is available exclusively to graduate assistants, teaching assistants, and research assistants on appointment (.25 FTE or greater) with the University of Florida. Please note that GatorGradCare plan enrollment is not automatic; eligible students must take action to enroll by the enrollment deadline.
The fall GatorGradCare health insurance enrollment deadline is September 14, 2016. All eligible GAs, including returning GAs currently participating in GatorGradCare, must submit a GatorGradCare enrollment by the September 14 deadline if they want to participate in the plan for this academic year. Enrollments cannot be accepted after the enrollment deadline.
GatorGradCare eligibility for enrollees is evaluated based on the job data in PeopleSoft. Please notify the Benefits Office by emailing [log in to unmask] if your department is aware of delays in processing job data for your Graduate Assistants.
