Hello Shahadat,

How are you defining network robustness???  There are many ways to define it.

Also how will you remove nodes in your simulation?  Iteratively, one at a time, and then remeasure after each removal?  Or, remove the top 10% (or some other %) of the nodes from the first measurement? What is traveling in your network?  — information, ideas, influence, disease, poison?

Not a simple experiment.  We have done this various ways for various clients.

Hi all,

I am looking for a network software tool that can allow me to check network robustness under different types of attack, both commonly followed attack types (e.g. random attack, betweenness based attack etc.) and user-defined approaches (e.g. providing the order of the list of actors to remove). Do you know any software tool that can of help for this purpose?

Regards
Shahadat
