Hello, Shevawn:

Yes, we use Skype for online tutoring. At the moment we are in the fledgling stages of online tutoring, but Skype for Business (not regular Skype) is very effective. Skype for Business offers a whiteboard, screen sharing, presentation features, etc. Tutees do not have to have the software installed on their computers. The tutor can send a link to access a tutoring session via Outlook 365.

Hope this helps!

Subject: SKYPE for on-line tutoring

Is anyone using Skype for on-line tutoring?  Is it effective?  Anything we should know?

Thanks
