I forgot to mention that I try to bring a group of Level III tutors to a regional conference. They get a ton of topics then. We expect our people seeking level III to study the selected articles and come to a meeting where we discuss the quality of the research in the article reviewed, the key points made, and the implications for our learning center. I am sending a quick email to ask for some ideas as to what folks are using for their Level III training for tutors. Right now, I have them training the other tutors during the large group trng and also leading some campus info sessions on such things as study skills. I also do a research project where they find more info about other learning centers. Does anyone have other ideas that your center uses? I’d love to add some to my training. Thanks, everyone.
