This Postdoctoral Research Fellow will primarily be engaged in research using Social Network Analysis (SNA) to investigate technical and/or social innovation. Examples of current research projects involve networks and the commercialisation
of polymer technologies, innovation networks in aerospace engineering, biotechnology hubs and clusters, and improving service delivery networks for government and non-government health agencies. The successful applicant will work in the Networked Innovation
group (the Swinburne node of MelNet).
The successful candidate will have a solid general understanding of the theory, method and application of SNA, with significant expertise in at least one of these three domains. Significant expertise may include, but not be limited to,
knowledge of Exponential Random Graph Models (ERGM) and Stochastic Actor Oriented Models (SAOM), network visualisation techniques, other statistical network techniques, network data collection, network and organisational theory, network consulting with industry,
programming, and more general network analysis skills.
