Call for Organized Sessions

 

Proposals are invited for Organized Sessions at NASN2017 in Washington, DC, July 26-30, 2017.

 

An Organized Session is a set of paper presentations centered on a specific theme, for which participants can submit abstracts from February 14, 2017. Organized sessions consist of at least one 2-hour time slot accommodating 4-6 paper presentations.

 

Please submit any Organized Session proposal between the following dates:

Opens January 2, 2017

Closes February 3, 2017, at 17:00 EST

Please include the following required information in your proposal:

* Contact information for a session organizer (name, institution, email).

* A short descriptive title for your session, and a brief description of your session.

* The names and institutional affiliations of all organizers and the session chair.

 

After submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Decisions will be communicated to the corresponding organizer before February 14, 2017 when abstract submission opens.

 

Call for Workshop Proposals

 

Proposals are invited for Workshops at NASN2017 in Washington, DC, July 26-30, 2017.

 

Workshops are sessions of half a day (3 hrs) or a full day (2 sessions of 3 hrs) focused on teaching attendees specific methods, software or theories.

 

These workshops are not free and require additional payment upon registration:

Half day (3 hour) workshop: $70 USD regular/ $35 USD student

Full day (6 hour) workshop: $140 USD regular/ $70 USD students

 

Please submit Workshop proposals between the following dates:

Opens January 2, 2017

Closes February 24, 2017, at 17:00 EST

Please include the following required information in your proposal:

* Contact information of a workshop organizer.

* A short descriptive title and a brief description of your workshop, including the length of the workshop (3 or 6 hours) and the maximum number of attendees. Please include names and institutional affiliations of all organizers. You may include url to supporting information for inclusion on the conference website.

 

After submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Decisions will be communicated to the corresponding organizer before March 3, 2017.
