319(h) Grants Available

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Nonpoint Source Management Program is pleased to announce the solicitation for two (2) grant opportunities:

  1.  The 2018 Section 319(h) Nonpoint Source Grant for projects that reduce or eliminate nonpoint source pollution; and

  1.  The 319(h) Nonpoint Source Education Grant for education and outreach projects that target reducing nonpoint source pollution in adopted Basin Management Action Plant (BMAP) areas. Please note, developing BMAPs that will be adopted by summer of 2017 can be considered as adopted for the purposes of this solicitation.

The application form, eligibility criteria, evaluation criteria, guidance and instruction documents can be found on the department's website<> and on the department's FTP site.<> The application deadline for both 319(h) Grant opportunities is March 15, 2017.

The eligibility, application, criteria, grant timeline and instructions are different for each of the two grants so please read all information carefully. Failing to follow instructions can result in your project being denied funding.
