Want to get started writing code or refresh your data analysis skills? Come to the Software Carpentry workshop held at the UF Informatics Institute on Thursday and Friday May 25 & 25 from 9:00 to 4:30. This is a two day training workshop focused on teaching basic software development skills for scientists and researchers in a hands-on lab-style format. We will cover the basics of the Unix shell, programming in Python, version control with git and Github, and database queries using SQL.
