An intern will be invited to apply various data skills including data analytics, data mining and data visualization, to a variety of Big Data (e.g., social media, transportation data, financial data, and mobile data) in tackling different sustainable development issues, such as food and agriculture, public health, economic well-being, urban resilience, urban sensing, natural disaster and climate change.
The internship will be in Jakarta, Indonesia, specifically at the main district of the capital city, and a selected intern will be provided flights from/to the origin city as well as a minimum living allowance. We encourage an intern to work and stay with us longer than three months but the duration and starting date is negotiable and flexible.
* Requirements: The applicants should be in a PhD program in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Social Science, Operations Research, or related fields, with proven publication records.
