LRNASST Community:

From 1860 to 1861 a private mail service called the Pony Express began operating between St Joseph, Missouri, and Sacramento, California. Incredibly it took no more than two weeks to travel such a great distance – about 2000 miles! The attached picture is a block away from the hotel in Old Sacramento and adjacent to the Railroad Museum which, following the telegraph line, eventually did away with horse and stagecoach travel.

The good news in 2017 is that all you need to do is hop in a Honda or pop in a plane and you are in Sacramento in hours. Why not? There is still time to register for and attend the 43rd Annual ACTLA Conference in beautiful Sacramento, CA. Post-conference evaluations consistently point to the same three benefits of attending an ACTLA conference: Community, Community, Community! See you in Sacramento.

NOTE: MAKE RESERVATIONS at the HOTEL before MARCH 28. The guaranteed hotel block (reserved rooms and rate of $139) ends March 28.   |    More information here:
