Hi Evgenia,

I think Condor might come to help, both for the analysis and for the automated fetching of in-company networks (such email networks or Skype).

For the surveys you might want to use EgoWeb (or LimeSurvey). http://egoweb.wikispaces.com/EgoWeb+2.0+Home
However, I never tested them with such a big set of names.

Hope this helps.
See you at Sunbelt!

Dear colleagues,

What are your current favorite SNA surveying tools for in-company data collection?

We are planning a study to measure collaboration within a company and are looking for a tool that would allow us to:

  • collect both SNA and actor-level data
  • offer the respondents an option to choose from a database containing 5000+ names, e.g. by suggesting last / first names while respondents are typing (database available)
  • carry names forward (evtl. transposing the names from rows to columns).

As a nice-to-have, it would be cool if the tool would be user-friendly (would not require much of programming) and would be compatible with repeated measures.

Thank you very much for your help and ideas!

Best regards,
