The position is available from June 2017, and will extend up to May 31st 2018, including annual leave. We hope to interview candidates at the upcoming INSNA Conference in Beijing or via Skype. *Job Description* The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by Professors Michael Genkin and Nicholas Harrigan as part of their Social Networks Research Group. The position will involve assistance with research, literature review, and grant preparation. Our main project involves social network analysis with an emphasis on signed ties. The objective is to understand the conditions under which groups emerge due to structural balance, and the conditions under which other network processes and theories are dominant. The position does not come with any teaching obligations. *Qualifications* Applicants must have a Ph.D. by June 2017. The ideal applicant has a background in quantitative skills with an emphasis on social network analysis. Ideally the candidate has some experience with exponential random graph and stochastic actor models or a willingness to learn them. Experience with the R statistical package is a strong plus. Experience with survey design and experimental methods are also a strong plus. *Remuneration* Depending on experience, remuneration is $4,500-$5,000 Singapore dollars ($3,200-$3,560 USD, depending on exchange rate) per month. The appointment also includes a pro-rated one-month annual wage supplement, which can be used for airfare and related moving expenses.
