*Subject:* Transfer, upper-level and online support

Hi everyone,

We are looking for information on how centers support the unique academic
needs of transfer students, experiences expanding services to support key
upper-level courses, and building a position to create and sustain online
tutoring. Below are our initial questions.

If you could e-mail me directly at [log in to unmask], I would appreciate
it.

1. Our institution has a significant *transfer student* population.
We are looking for information about academic support that other
institutions offer in upper-level courses transfer students find
challenging. Do you have specific recommendations for supporting transfer
students?

2. We are considering adding support for targeted *upper-level
courses*. Do you have recommendations for supporting courses at those
levels when qualified tutors may not be available? Do you have experience
with adjunct faculty tutors, graduate tutors or tutors currently enrolled
in courses they support?

3. How is your center structured to support online learners and
online tutoring? Do you have a job description for a staff member who
oversee that area?
